Removes excess skin and fat from the upper eyelid. This is one of the most common procedures for women and men. The benefits of upper lid blepharoplasty are increased comfort (the patient doesn’t have to elevate the eyebrow to lift the skin off the lashes or raise the eyelid), increased upper field of vision, and cosmetic enhancement. In women, a lid crease and platform to apply make-up on the upper lid can be created.
Improves puffy lower eyelid "bags" or to reduce wrinkling of skin. This is done either through a skin incision, called trans-cutaneous approach or through the inner aspect of the eyelid, called trans-conjunctival approach. Incisions made on the inside of the eyelids in the trans-conjunctival approach are not visible. Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty reduces excess fat from within the lower eyelids through incisions which are then closed with fine sutures.
Eyelid ptosis is an abnormally low position of the upper eyelid, which occurs when the muscles that raise the eyelid (levator and Müller's muscles) are not strong enough to do so properly. It can affect one eye or both eyes and is more common in the elderly, as muscles in the eyelids may begin to deteriorate.
Surgical procedure designed to smooth and firm the skin, providing a fresh, youthful appearance. Areas of the face and neck, in particular around the jaw line, are especially prone to the aging process. Surgery for a facelift involves the contraction and realignment of facial and neck skin, and in some instances the removal of excess fat deposits. A facelift is often performed in combination with other facial cosmetic procedures.
A neck lift is performed to correct sagging loose skin and/or an abundance of fatty tissue in the neck area. Many times the neck muscle is weak or becomes separated and needs to be reconnected and tightened. Sagging skin can also extend posteriorly to include the side of the neck, resulting in "jowls." Small surgical incisions can be made under the chin or behind the ear as part of a neck lift.
This procedure restores cheek volume and establishes more youthful midface contours. The result is a natural, revitalized appearance that doesn’t appear overdone or “pulled.” A midface lift will deliver a natural but noticeable improvement. It is frequently performed with other surgeries, such as a lower face lift, eyelid surgery, or a brow lift. However, for many younger patients, under 45 years old, midface rejuvenation is often a stand-alone procedure.
A forehead lift, also known as a browlift or browplasty, is a cosmetic surgery procedure used to elevate a drooping eyebrow that may obstruct vision and/or to remove the deep worry lines that run across the forehead and may portray to others anger, sternness, hostility, fatigue or other unintended emotions. There are different methods of elevating the brow: Coronal/Hairline, Direct lift, Indirect Lift, Endoscopic, Endotine fixation.
Torn/stretched earlobes can occur gradually from wearing heavy earrings, from fashion earrings that gradually enlarge the earlobe piercing, or suddenly from trauma. Torn earlobe surgery is a fairly simple in-office procedure that restores the earlobe shape and allows the patient to wear earrings again after re-piercing
